Take Inventory of You Today - Wellbeing Wisdom Tiny Bites Podcast
Today I want you to take inventory. At some point today, give yourself 30 minutes for this exercise. Give yourself permission to focus strictly on you – close your door, or go outside and away from people, or surround yourself with strangers who won’t interrupt you.
Put yourself in the environment that sparks creative thinking, then focus on taking inventory of your strengths and what you’d like to improve. You can include your body, your habits, your ability to focus, your passions, your stumbling blocks – dump it all onto a notepad or in your journal.
Take inventory of your hopes and dreams, take inventory of how your job makes you feel, how your relationships make you feel, and how you generally feel about yourself.
Don’t judge what you’re writing, just write. Don’t judge what you’re thinking, just capture it all on paper. Then look at what you’ve written and draw circles around the pieces of you that you’re proud of or want more of.
Use the words you’ve circled to create the best “you” as you move forward in life.
