How you begin is likely to be how you continue throughout the day. Since many research studies show that happier people achieve more goals, the logical conclusion is that trying to create more happiness in your outlook will make you more successful.
So, since how you begin the day is likely to be how you continue throughout the day, what can you do to remember to begin the day feeling hopeful?
We all have morning routines – how can you plug positivity into yours? I go out with the dogs first thing in the morning, enjoying the feeling of the fresh air, the sound of the birds, and the way the sky looks. I try to spend about ten minutes outside while the coffee pot is doing its thing and the dogs are doing theirs. I watch how the dogs interact with the world and wonder what their noses are telling them that I’ll never know.
When I go back inside, it’s with a mind more open to the good things around me. Maybe that idea can help you start your day on a more positive note, too?
