How to Be More Open to New Experiences - Wellbeing Wisdom Tiny Bites
Are you open to new experiences?
Most people think they are, yet they stay stuck in the same old routine. They have their list of “someday” things – someday they’ll see the world, someday they’ll get married, someday they'll...whatever – and they don’t do the things that can help them get closer to “someday.” Maybe it’s the fear of the unknown, or maybe it’s because they’re so comfortable in their daily life that they don’t want or need anything else.
For today, think about your life in a deeper way – what do you want to experience “someday?” Make a list, and then prioritize the list: 10 is something you definitely want to experience, and 1 is something you’d like to experience and won’t cry if you never do. Pick the thing with the highest number, and then list the things you do now that will get you closer to that experience. Now list additional things you can do to get you closer, faster.
