Whisper Your Life's Dreams to Me - Wellbeing Wisdom Tiny Bites

When you were 10, what was your dream for your life? How about when you were 18, and 25? How have those dreams worked out for you, or have you morphed them into new dreams?

Our dreams usually change as we learn more about what the reality will be when we achieve them. When I was 7, I wanted to be a nurse. Then I learned what nurses do, and I still loved nurses and decided I didn’t want to be one.

When you are today years old, what is your dream? Seriously – what is your dream for your life? If you have to stop and think about it, then please let yourself dream. It’s easy, once we become adults with adult responsibilities, to forget to dream about what we want from life.

Find a few minutes each day to think about your life and your wishes for it to grow and change. Treat your dreams like a delicious dessert – savor them in the privacy of your mind, thinking about them as if they’ve already happened for you. Live inside your dream for a few minutes each day, trying to smell the aromas, hear the sounds, touch the objects – treat them all as if they’re real.

Let your dreams dance and morph and change as they need to so they feel perfectly real and perfectly delightful. Treat yourself to your dreams again, and let them be the movie of your life.
