How does the world see you?
Have you ever thought about that? Many people haven’t really stopped to think about what their posture, head carriage, stride, and personal style (clothes, shoes, hair, etc.) says to others.
This isn’t about you changing yourself to be what others might prefer, this is about you being sure you’re giving the world accurate information about who you are and, more importantly, who you are becoming.
Think about Olympic gymnasts – whether they turned in a perfect-10 routine or not, they “stick the landing” and hold that finishing pose for the judges. They know something very important – attitude is everything, though not for the reasons you may think.
When you focus on projecting the best of yourself through your walk, talk, and actions, people feel more comfortable with you. Even better, when you focus on your best qualities, you’re reinforcing those parts of yourself to your brain. The brain believes what you focus on is what it should focus on – there’s a lot of research to back that up – so if you want more confidence, exude it.
When you feel it, you are it.
