Stop and breathe. Maybe for just a few minutes, and maybe for the whole day, if that’s what it takes to regain your sense of self-control, just breathe.
Don’t try to mentally play out all the steps you’ll need to take to set things right in your life – the only way to get something done is one step at a time, anyway, so think of the first best step you can take. Then take it.
