Wellbeing Wisdom Tiny Bites - Understanding that Stuck Feeling

Is there a part of your life where you feel stuck? Maybe your career isn’t growing the way you’d hoped, maybe your relationship is feeling a bit stale, and maybe you keep meaning to lose weight or get more exercise or write the Great American Novel and it’s just not happening.

Life keeps moving – think about your entire life up until now and look at all the ways it has shifted, changed and grown as you’ve passed through time. There is no “stuck” outside of your head. All of the “stuck” in your life is inside your head, waiting for you to do something about it.

Usually we feel stuck because we know what we need to do and don’t want to do it. Then the day comes when it’s harder to stay stuck than it is to take the action to make the change. If there’s part of your life where you feel stuck, understand that you are the one keeping your figurative feet in the mud.
