There’s a time-travel portal in your brain that allows you to go back to the past and fast-forward into what you think – or maybe fear – your future may be. When you’re time-traveling, though, you’re missing out on your actual life!
When the brain is wallowing in pain from the past or worrying about what might happen in the future it’s not focused on the present moment, and the present moment is the only place your life truly is. You can only decide now. You can only act now. And every second of your life is a brand new now, ready for you to make a new choice of how you want your life to be.
To stop the rush of time, savor the time called “now” and quit letting your brain time-travel so much.
