Wellbeing Wisdom Tiny Bites - What True Love Really Is
A friend recently gave money to a woman sitting in car that had a flat tire. Something told her the woman wasn’t fine, even though she said she was. When she shared the story, she said, “May we love those who are in front of us.”
Does that sentence hit you like a prayer, too?
May we always love those who are in front of us.
Do you have a hard time asking for help? Most people do, so when you feel that someone isn’t OK, love them enough to help them. The help may be to give them cash, like my friend did. The help may be to keep asking questions until they’re willing to talk to you. The help may be to sit with them in silence, just letting them know someone cares.
May you love the person who is in front of you enough to know the help they need and may we all remember to love those who are in front of us more often.
