There is one word you need to remember when you’re feeling overwhelmed. It doesn’t matter what is going on in your life that is creating the feeling of overwhelm – it could be personal, financial, professional, or even all of the above all at once.
There’s still only one word you need to remember… ONE.
All of life is one step at a time, one task at a time, one moment at a time and one breath at a time. One. Just one.
You can’t fix everything you think needs fixing all at once, so focus on one thing you can fix and fix it. The focus on one more thing. And then one more. Time will pass…tension will ease…and most of the time whatever has created the feeling of overwhelm will loosen its grip and move on. And because you’ve focused on one thing, accomplished one thing, and then focused on the next thing, you’ve shown yourself that no matter what is going on, you can still handle it.
One step at a time, one task at a time, one moment at a time and one breath at a time.
