Do you have days where you feel emotionally and physically exhausted by the end of the day? And do you have days where your workload was the same as normal and instead of being tired at the end of the day, you felt inspired, maybe even elated?

What’s the difference between the good days and the draining days? If the work you do is basically the same, and the people you deal with are basically the same, what’s different?

It’s your focus.

At the end of each day, pay attention to how you feel – exhausted or exhilarated or somewhere in between – and then think about what seemed to dominate your day.

There’s an old saying – it’s not climbing the mountain that wears you out, it’s the pebble in your shoe as you climb. Identify the pebbles in your life and do your best to not focus on them. Support your mental wellbeing on a daily basis.
