Veterinary Wellbeing Wisdom Tiny Bites - Tending the Garden of Your Dreams
Five-hundred-year-old seeds stored in London’s Museum of Natural History accidentally got wet and sprouted. Thousand-year-old lotus seeds were discovered, revived and are now flourishing plants producing new flowers and seeds. And seeds from a date palm that died 2000 years ago have produced trees of an extinct species.
If you think of your dreams as seeds, which ones of yours have you put into storage and maybe forgotten about?
When I was a child I wanted to live where there was sun, salt water, sand and stars. That wasn’t a dream my wasband shared, so I put that dream away for 30 years. Taking it back out and imaging the possibilities is like catching up with a long-lost friend.
Your dreams matter – what you want in life matters. Make time to visit your dreams – you might be surprised at how much closer to sprouting they are, while they waited for you to be ready.
