Veterinary Wellbeing Wisdom Tiny Bites - Creating Courage in Your Life

“Courage is resistance to fear, mastery of fear, not absence of fear.”

Mark Twain was known much more for his warm, folksy humor than for writing scary stories, though one of his masterworks is A Ghost Story. He takes readers on a trip through an abandoned old hotel, haunted by a spirt at first frightening and then pitiful.

The idea of fear being normal and something to gain control of is illustrated in A Ghost Story and you can resist and master your fears, too. If you are afraid of something, study it. Learn about it. Master the knowledge of it.

Once you understand how and why something is the way it is or happens the way it happens, you’ll gain courage over it in your life, too.
