Knowing to Win - Showing to Win - Fayetteville Kennel Club

Welcome to a more knowledgeable, more confident YOU in the show ring or performance floor!

In this full-day seminar, you'll get some nuts and bolts, you'll get some theory, you'll get some functional anatomy, you'll get some personalized conditioning and handling tricks ... but most importantly, you'll get a deeper understanding of everything about dogs and dog sports.

And the more you know, the better you'll show!

Whether you're signing up for conformation-focused or performance-focused training, know that your success is the first priority!

What you'll get:

  • Morning Session – Knowing to Win - interactive, informative, and fun! We'll delve into some anatomy, some attitude, and you'll get actionable ideas.

Lunch Break - lunch is included!

Afternoon Session – Showing to Win - Some conversation and a lot of dog hair - you'll learn by watching the participants, you can ask questions as we go, all without the stress of trying to learn and teach your dog at the same time. You'll gain practical information to help you and your dog shine in the ring.

Working slots are limited - once they're gone, they're gone, so secure yours now.

PLEASE NOTE - per current AKC rules, people who receive handling instruction from a judge cannot show to that judge for 6 months. If this is important to you, click here and enter 94535 in the "Judge number" field to be taken to a list of breeds I'm currently approved to judge.

I took show handling and conformation classes from Sandy with my Beagle and German Wirehaired Pointer. As I am showing in the ring, so many of Sandy’s teachings pop in my head of what to do and not to do. Her classes have made me more comfortable and a better owner handler.

Jen Baker

Sandy is a great teacher. Her expertise in owning, showing, and judging dogs was evident in the classes I took from her.
